2. What data we collect
This website is informational: it has no contact, registration or purchase forms and does not directly collect personal data.
If you book by phone or at the restaurant, we will process the details you give us (name, phone number, date, time, number of guests and, if you tell us, allergies or intolerances) solely to manage your booking and look after you better.
3. Third-party services
This page does not load third-party content: the fonts are served from our own server and the location map is drawn in your browser using open OpenStreetMap data included in the page itself, without connecting to any map service. Links to Google Maps, Google, Tripadvisor and Facebook only share data when you click them, and are governed by each provider’s own privacy policy.
4. Purpose and retention
We use your data exclusively to manage bookings and answer your enquiries. We keep it only for as long as needed for that purpose and then delete it.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties, unless a legal obligation requires us to.
6. Your rights
Under Costa Rican Law No. 8968 on the Protection of Individuals regarding the Processing of their Personal Data, you may request access to, rectification or deletion of your data, and object to its processing. To exercise these rights, contact us by phone or at the restaurant. If you believe your request has not been handled properly, you may turn to the Data Protection Agency of the Inhabitants (Prodhab). If you are in the European Union, you also have the rights set out in the GDPR.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the site or to the regulations. The date of the latest revision appears at the top.
